Fujairah Martial Arts Club was established by an Emiri Decree issued by the office of His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah, Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi in 2013, and was approved for publication by the General Authority for Youth and Sports Welfare in 2015. The club is considered a unique initiative at the state and regional levels in terms of specialization and professionalism to embrace all combat sports. The strategic mission of the club is to discover and develop talents in the field of martial arts, and work on developing them to reach the level of professionalism, in addition to spreading the culture of martial arts among the community segments and creating a supportive sports environment for martial arts games and strengthening relations with sports institutions concerned with martial arts to ensure readiness and preparedness to host local, regional and international championships and to ensure the application of the best modern technological practices in martial arts games. The main tasks of the club are: First, preparing, developing and qualifying combat sports talents in eight combat sports (Taekwondo, Judo, Fencing, Wrestling, Boxing, Karate, Triathlon, Jiu-Jitsu) through strategic and technical plans that include best practices from international training camps and the use of digital technology such as the digital performance measurement system and the talent discovery robot. Working on organizing and hosting local, regional and international tournaments in the field of martial arts, where since its establishment until now it has been able to organize and host many tournaments successfully, which contributed to achieving a distinguished institutional position and reputation at the level of local, Arab and international federations, in addition to the club's players and players of other clubs at the state level being able to achieve many medals and cups, in addition to the opportunity to gain qualifying points to participate in the International Olympics. Representing the UAE in international tournaments by participating with local teams at the state level. Designing and launching specialized sports programs in the field of discovering young sports talents at the level of the Emirate of Fujairah. The club has also won many local and international awards and titles, most notably the Best Arab Club Award for the year 2022, the General Excellence Shield for Taekwondo for five consecutive years, the last of which was the 2022/2023 season, the General Excellence Shield for Judo for the 2022/2023 season, and the General Excellence Shield for Fencing for the 2022/2023 season.
