Information about Taekwondo
Taekwondo began on a set of principles like other sports, and Choi Hong, the inventor of that game, was able to express the philosophical methods of Taekwondo through five principles, which are (perseverance - self-control - integrity - determination - sacrifice).
One of the most important information about Taekwondo is that it is able to strengthen the body in a way that does not leave any negative effects on the bones or muscles, which makes it one of the safe sports for the health of the body, and it also gives the body superior physical fitness with continued training.
Olympiad
Taekwondo was first included in the Summer Olympics as a demonstration sport at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. The opening ceremony featured a massive display of taekwondo with hundreds of adults and children performing moves in perfect unison.
The game was officially adopted at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
Her history in the club
Taekwondo has been practiced in the Emirate of Fujairah since 2007 and was the first sport in which the Fujairah Martial Arts Club was established in 2015. Taekwondo is practiced by both males and females, and training is available in the Fujairah and Dibba branches, and participation in local championships takes place during the sports season.
Fujairah Martial Arts Club also organizes many championships in various martial arts sports, including the Fujairah International Open Championship every year in cooperation with the Emirates Taekwondo Federation.
